Biography

Dr. Morkos joined Marshall B. Ketchum University in 2022 as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Marshall B. Ketchum University. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Marshall B. Ketchum University as part of the inaugural class of 2020. She completed her PGY1 residency training at Desert Valley Hospital and went on to complete a PGY2 specialty residency in Infectious Diseases at LAC + USC Medical Center. Dr. Morkos is currently a member of the Society for Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) and the California Society of Health System Pharmacists (CSHP).

Dr. Morkos' clinical and research interests include learning style theory, antimicrobial stewardship, synergistic effects of antimicrobials, as well as induced antibiotic resistance mechanisms.
