Dr. Betty Ng graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) at Marshall B. Ketchum University. After graduating from SCCO, Dr. Ng completed a residency in Primary Eye Care and Ocular disease at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton, Arizona. In the year following, she worked at a medical-based private practice in Hayward, California.
Dr. Ng returned to SCCO in 2020 as full-time faculty with clinical and laboratory teaching responsibilities in the Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease service. Dr. Ng is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association.
