We love connecting with prospective students and have a variety of ways to do so in person and virtually. Group events and presentations offer a great opportunity for prospective students at all levels of interest to explore the optometry profession, SCCO's program, MBKU's campus, student life, and more. Learn more about our program, the admissions process, what we look for in competitive applicants, and timeline tips for those considering applying this time of the year. Admissions Officers and Student Ambassadors co-host this fun event that also includes a live campus tour! The perfect event for pre-optometry clubs to host a watch party or for individuals who aren’t involved in a club to join our community for support!

Once a month we host main campus and clinic tours from 9-11am on select Fridays. Click here to RSVP and download arrival and parking information.

Looking for a great place to shadow? We'd love to host you at the University Eye Center at Ketchum Health in Anaheim! Experience clinic life, observe patient care, and chat with current students for a few hours as you shadow 3rd and 4th-year optometric interns and meet faculty. Our Clinic Shadowing Program will pause during the holidays. Please submit requests for dates no sooner than 1/19/24. Click here to submit your request.

Come hang out with SCCO Student Ambassadors! We created this event to let you walk in our shoes so you can get an idea of what it's like to be an optometry student at MBKU. We'll have campus tours, hands-on demos, teach you some basic skills you can use during vision screenings, plus have games, snacks and plenty of time to chat and answer any questions you have for us! Admissions Officers will be here as well to help address any questions about applying. 

Whether you're still exploring optometry, are applying soon, or have already been admitted to our incoming class, this event is for you!

We can't wait to meet you and show you around!
