Lori Jacklin started at MBKU in 2017. Prior to MBKU, she spent 11 years in her early career as a financial statement auditor for Ernst & Young, followed by a regional firm. Her experience in that role helped shape her future roles as she became a financial director, controller, and CFO in various organizations.
Lori is a specialist with nonprofits, spending 16 years working for various nonprofit organizations. Lori has worked at health-based organization, National MS Society, as well as the youth-based organization, the Boy Scouts of America, and finally both health care and education at MBKU. Lori has always been drawn to organizations that make a difference in people’s lives.
Lori completed her bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Cal State Fullerton and completed her Master’s in Accountancy from Boise State University in Spring 2023; modeling to her kids that education is a lifelong pursuit.
Lori is a full-time single parent to two amazing kids: Jenna 13, Hunter 11. She also loves animals and has a home “zoo” with two dogs, a Scottie Winston, a terrible terrier Ruby, a tabby cat Axl, and Chip the bunny.
Lori’s hobbies include indoor and outdoor rock climbing and vacationing with friends and family to climbing destinations such as Big Bear, CA, Red Rocks, NV, and Yosemite, CA.
