Peer Advice: Healthier Eating Made Easy - Meal Prepping Tips for Busy PA Students

Meal prepping in PA school has helped me save time and be more mindful with more balanced meals throughout my busy days.

I’ve found that I’m more focused and have more energy when I pack a nutrient dense meal. Additionally, SNAP EBT benefits have been a huge part in how I’m able to afford well balanced meals while also allowing me to try new recipes out of my comfort zone!

Why Meal Prepping?

Saves Time: I spent 1-2 hours on Sunday meal prepping for the week.

Reduces Stress: Ready-to-eat meals reduce daily meal planning stress.

Saves Money: Planning meals and buying in bulk is cost-effective. EBT helps a lot with saving money as well!

Getting Started with Meal Prepping

Plan Your Meals: Decide on meals for the week, including proteins, vegetables, and grains.

Make a List: Create a shopping list based on your meal plan. This will also cut down your time spent in the grocery store!

By planning meals and using SNAP EBT benefits if eligible, you can enjoy nutritious, home-cooked meals every day!
