Dr. Lum is an Assistant Professor and teaches at the Las Vegas Low Vision Clinic; State of Nevada Bureau of Services to the Blind and Visually Impaired. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology with a Minor in Chinese Studies from the University of California, San Diego in 1996 and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2000. She completed her residency training in Primary Care/Ocular Disease at the West Los Angeles VA Healthcare Center in 2001. Dr. Lum previously practiced at the Shiley Eye Institute at the University of California, San Diego, where she provided primary care and low vision services. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
