Kim Vo, PharmD, BCACP, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Marshall B. Ketchum University (MBKU) College of Pharmacy. She joined MBKU in 2019. Dr. Vo is a board-certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist. She completed a PGY-1 general pharmacy residency at the CTVHCS serving the Veteran population. She also completed a PGY-2 ambulatory care residency and a one-year academic fellowship at OSU/OHSU. There she provided disease state and medication education and management for the homeless and underserved at the Old Town Clinic in downtown Portland, Veterans in the heart failure clinic at the Portland VA, and patients at OHSU at the diabetes clinic and kidney transplant clinic. Dr. Vo taught and facilitated students from OSU and provided continuing education, provider education, and guest lectured for the surrounding programs including the naturopathic school of medicine and OSHU’s physician assistant program.
Dr. Vo has a strong commitment to academic and professional excellence. She currently teaches the first year students in the patient assessment series and practicing in a hospital-based system. Her research interests are in the clinical and academic setting. Additionally, she is an active member of several organizations, both with the college of pharmacy and in the community. In her spare time, she enjoys networking and tries to check things off her endless bucket list including eating at new places with her family and friends.
