Wende holds a BA in Business from Hope International University, an MS in Human Resources from Chapman University as well as SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications.
Wende Holtzen has served as Vice President for Human Resources at Marshall B. Ketchum University since 2021, leading a team of HR professionals who focus on recruiting, benefits, onboarding, employee policies/procedures, compliance, compensation, and employee relations. Prior to joining MBKU, Wende was Director of Human Resources at Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, CA. Wende began her career in higher education at Hope International University in Fullerton where she served for over 20 years, holding several roles including Director of Human Resources. With more than twenty-five years of experience working in education, Wende brings a wealth of experience and demonstrated ability to provide the highest degree of service for the MBKU Community.
