- Passed the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). Applicants to the bridge program should at least have their PANCE scheduled.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all post-secondary coursework documented by official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions.
- Demonstration of graduate-level writing skills through an essay that explains what the candidate’s professional aspirations are and how the degree aligns with their career goals.
- A current CV or resume
- A letter of recommendation from a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician associate/assistant. Reference letters should not be from personal friends or family members. We strongly recommend a letter from a clinician you have known for at least 6 months.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Must be fluent in English
Program Goals
Our goal is to prepare PAs to become competent PA educators and/or administrator/leaders in healthcare delivery and other related organizations. For those who already hold such positions, our goal is to improve our students’ effectiveness in those roles.
