In another article from our recent publication of the President's Report, the now Dr. Sahar Matin (Class of 2020!) shared how she got started in pharmacy. Her merits include such prestigious accomplishments as the Tylenol Future Care Scholarship and more. However, her driving force as a health care provider isn't from an award or recognition, but from a formative experience where she witnessed her aunt, who is also a pharmacist, deliver care to patients during a tragic earthquake in the remote region of Bam, Iran back in 2003.
