Meet the MBKUSA Student Relations Committee Chair: "Hello MBKU! My name is Theresa Tran and I am a third year optometry student. I grew up in Westminster and graduated from UCI with a BS in Biological Sciences, a BA in Education Sciences, and a minor in Management. Why the education degree? I loved teaching children at my church so much that I decided to learn how to become a better teacher for them. I unfortunately took a break from teaching when I started optometry school, but I hope to pick it up after graduating. I also enjoy hiking, reading, playing board games, and more recently, spending time with my brother’s 3 month old kitten, Kobe.
Aside from continuing to serve as @scco2022 secretary, I will also be the new @weareMBKU Student Relations Committee Chair for this academic year. Some of my responsibilities include making sure student events do not have time conflicts so that you can attend all events if you’d like and approving grants to help fund student organizations. I look forward to working with students from all 3 programs, promoting student activities, and serving as an avenue to provide assistance to all students!" #FacesofMBKU
