Way to go SCCO for having the largest number of new Student Fellows in the American Academy of Optometry in 2020! To achieve this, students took time outside of their studies to attend @aaopt events and lectures including over 12 hours of programming, along with CE, poster and paper sessions, residency and graduate program fair, and the exhibit hall over about a two-week period. Although 2020 limited many activities, we’re grateful that students were able to capitalize on the accessibility of Academy events. Special thanks to @scco.aao and President Andrew Chen, Arah Cho, Diana Chau, Allison Andrews and Faculty Advisor Dr. Erin Rueff for advocating about AAO’s Student Fellowship program.
