Tiffany Khieu put her pharmacy skills to use in an unforgettable way during her MBKU Lions Club medical mission trip, she shared, “¡Buenos días! On Thanksgiving Break, I traveled to Michoacán, Mexico along with my fellow MBKU Lions Club members, our group included six optometry students and three pharmacy students. There, we served 1,300 patients with general and eye health services. From taking blood pressures to dispensing glasses, each student exercised their knowledge and skills learned from school to help each patient. The mission trip was a great opportunity to practice #interprofessionalism as well.
