"My class is currently in our tenth integrated pharmacotherapeutics (IPT X) learning about antiretroviral therapies to manage HIV infections. To understand the complexity of adhering to an HIV medication regimen in the past, our professor challenged us to complete our medications— which are M&M’s here!— by the end of the week. We are lucky to have combination drugs today that are only once daily, such as Biktarvy (bictegravir, emtricitabine & tenofovir alafenamide) and Triumeq (abacavir, dolutegravir, & lamivudine)." – Tiffany Khieu, COP '21
