Did you know that the first PA graduates consisted of four Navy corpsmen? In honor of #VeteransDay we're featuring Michael Bux, who is an emblem of that history. Back in Winter 2018, we sat down with Michael to talk about his service as an active-duty Navy Corpsman from 2004-2013, as well as the history of Navy Corpsman and their advanced medical training. #tbt Celebrating Dr. Susan Cotter, pictured with her husband Dr. Lou Lipschultz, at the SCCO Alumni Reception at #Academy19 in Orlando! Dr. Cotter was the 2019 recipient of the Glenn A. Fry Lecture award in which she presented a special lecture at the meeting.

Thanks to a grant of almost $500,00 awarded to the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA), MBKU's School of PA Studies is 1 of 10 pilot programs selected to develop a standardized curriculum that will ensure graduates are fully prepared to provide high-quality care for those suffering from Substance Use Disorders. #MBKUProud

Check out one of our pharmacy students getting ready to administer a flu shot, "MBKU-CPhA and MBKU-CSHP worked together with the Orange County Community Health Alliance (OCCHA) to host their first health clinic of the year at Linh Ung Temple. Students provided flu shots, consultations on blood pressure, blood glucose and provided BMI." – @mbkucshp
