Congratulations Dr. Raveena Garcha '20 and Dr. Cathy Van Pham ' 21 for being named the 2024 Recent Graduate Alumni Award Recipients! This award recognizes MBKU alumni who earned their degree within the last 10 years. It celebrates achievements in their
professional career, community service, or professional leadership.

Welcome Dean Orum-Alexander
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Gail Orum-Alexander, PharmD, BCGP, as the second dean of the College of Pharmacy at Marshall B. Ketchum University (MBKU). Dr. Orum-Alexander brings a wealth of experience and a profound commitment to advancing pharmacy education, patient care, and community engagement. Her leadership and vision will undoubtedly guide the College of Pharmacy to new heights, and we are excited to see the impact she will make in her new role.

AACP's Aspiring Academics Program Recipient
Congratulations to COP P3 student, Giovanni Leon, for being selected to participate in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Aspiring Academics program! Giovanni, along with his mentor, Dr. Miriam Morkos, will be attending the AACP conference in Chicago next year. The Aspiring Academics program is designed to inform and inspire students from diverse backgrounds who are interested in pursuing a career in academic pharmacy. The program is highly competitive, accepting only 28 student-faculty pairs nationwide from AACP member schools for the 2024-2025 program. We are incredibly proud of Giovanni’s accomplishment and look forward to seeing him thrive in this prestigious program!

Congratulations to the MBKU College of Pharmacy and the Class of 2024 on the successful completion of their pharmacy program! As MBKU COP's fifth graduating class, they have showcased their dedication, resilience, and commitment to the pharmacy profession, all while receiving their education through the COVID pandemic! We wish the Class of 2024 continued success in all their future endeavors, knowing that they will continue to uphold the highest standards of the pharmacy profession!
