Gala Celebration

Thumbnail

On Saturday, Sept. 22, Marshall B. Ketchum University held its Gala Celebration, a beautiful, gratitude-filled evening that gave the University community a chance to unite around and honor the shared ideals upon which MBKU has thrived.

At the center of the Gala’s honors was the conferral of the V-Awards, MBKU’s most prestigious award for charitable and volunteer service benefitting the greater community. The “V” in V-Award stands for “vita” – Latin for “life” or “way of life” – and represents the impact the honorees have on the lives of others. This year’s recipients were the North Orange County Chamber and SCCO alumnus Dr. Tony Carnevali.

Also honored at the Gala Celebration was Dr. Joshua Terry, recipient of the 2018 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year award for his dedicated work in educating people all over the world about the signs and symptoms of rapid-onset diabetes. Special thanks to all MBKU faculty, staff and students who supported MBKU by attending this year's Gala.
