And that's a wrap on another successful quarter in clinic! We can't believe we're halfway through our 3rd year and we owe it all to our amazing staff doctors and opticians! Check out the many poses of @scco2022 in action. Good luck to everyone taking finals! #MBKUAmbassadorVickie #MBKUAmbassadorRyan

Hi MBKU Fam, it's #MBKUAmbassador Joanne Vuong! With the high pace structure of grad school, we often forget to look at our surroundings, so this is reminder to take study breaks! Although the air quality is not the greatest right now because of the fires, once it improves, take advantage of a quick stroll through campus after studying at the lecture halls or practicing in the labs. Remember to take it a day at a time ?, take your breaks ?and wear a mask ?

Hi everyone, #MBKUAmbassador Tiffany Khieu here! How are you all doing? I'm currently a P4 on my 3rd Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotation in Acute Care in Fullerton - close to home base! My previous two rotations have been quite the challenge, so I thought it would be nice to capture memories of them through flowers. To everyone who is struggling right now: no matter how tough it gets, remember flowers can bloom in adversity. See you all in another post!

BONUS PIC: Here is my current remote set-up. A chaotic, beautiful mess.

#MBKUAmbassador Joanne Vuong here! This is the last day of Academy at Home 2020 ? and many of us optometry ? students and faculty alike have learned so much from the hundreds of CEs provided. The session, “What Optometrists Need to Know about Human Trafficking in US,” has been very insightful and can be applied to all of MBKU. Congratulations to Dr. Sue Cotter on receiving the 2020 Theia Award of Excellence in Education. Here she is in action! She has been a teacher and a mentor to many optometrists for nearly four decades, and her primary research interests are related to clinical management strategies for strabismus, amblyopia, convergence insufficiency and childhood refractive error. Dr. Cotter quotes Maya Angelou: “’When you learn, teach; and when you get, give,’ and that rings true to me and sums up why I do what I do—teach.” You can watch Dr.
